ABOUT
My interest in the audiovisual industry grew as I studied Sound Design, in 2015. After I graduated on Video Production, I kept learning all kinds of techniques and new softwares to be able to get the most of my work.
Since I started working, I especialized in video editing, however, my knowledge expands to color grading, VFX, camera operating or 3D filmmaking.

INTERESTS
3D SHORT FILMS
I started using Unreal and Blender to tell stories on my previous job.
I found out a new world of possibilities, where it is only needed a story, and 3D animators, to make a short film come to life.
Creating the environment, setting an ambience with lighting and simulations, using a virtual camera to travel across the story we want to tell is the best thing I was able to learn since I started working in the industry.
MOTION GRAPHICS
The process of motion graphics is quite challenging but fun.
The level of creativity needed to achive a motion graphics animation that is art on its own, is a process of learning, trial and error, and it is only possible when our imagination is unleashed.
There are so many levels of motion graphics, from text animation, to product graphics, to a whole scene of illustrations and creativity.
That is my goal, to get to that level.
FILMMAKING
Planning for the shot on the pre-production stage is the most important part in the chain of work. However, what I enjoy the most, is taking a camera and bring that idea to life.
Sometimes, like in most of my travel videos, I unleash my creativity and let the shots flow as I go. That way, I can ejoy the travel while keeping a visual memory of it that I can edit once I get back home.
COMPOSITING
This process is one the most difficult part of the process, since it is needed to perfectly mix two different shots, one may be virtual and the other live action, so that it all seems real, making it as seamless as possible, so that the viewer cannot tell when the 3D environment starts or when it ends.
This can be achived with color grading, overlays, masking, among many other processes.
I look forward to keep diving in this process of filmmaking.
